Happy New Year, lovelies! I hope you all had a fabulous time celebrating this past weekend.
After I spent a day relaxing and recovering from all of the holiday festivities, I’ve taken some time to reflect on my goals for upcoming year. And since they say you are more likely to stick to your resolutions if you write them down, I wanted to share them all with you.
- Build a better blog.
I began DakotaChic this past year as a fun way to share some stylish tidbits, but it would be nothing without my readers, and I would love to hear from you. Do you have ideas or topics you’d like to see? Please share in the comments below. xoxo
- Lead a healthy lifestyle.
I realize this is the most cliche resolution of all time, but I have a gorgeous wedding dress to fit into this June, so this one has climbed the priority ladder. For me, embracing a healthy lifestyle involves more than just losing weight. I plan to cook up some delicious, healthy meals (watch for some recipes coming to the blog), focus on fitness and just be more more health conscious in general.
- Be on time.
This one is more for my fiancé. He is a very punctual person. I am not. But I am going to try.
- Be inspired and inspire others.
Whetherit’s creative, altruistic or spiritual, you can find inspiration in the smallest of places… a destination, a random act of kindness, a good book or aPinterest board. I hopeto be more open to these experiences in 2015, and put my inspiration into action. I also hope DakotaChic can serve as an inspiration to others. It can be as simple as wanting to cook a new dish or try a new outfit, but I hope each visitor will leave feeling more inspired than ever.
What are some of your resolutions for the coming year? I don’t know about you, but I have a pretty darn good feeling about 2015. Here’s to this year being the best one yet!
